Meet the Team

Dr. Thomas Stone MD, DDS, FACS

Committed to continuing education, he sponsors continuing education courses to collaborate with dental colleagues in the restorative and surgical aspects of dental implant therapy. Dr. Stone has received the Platinum Elite Award from Biomet 3i in recognition of educational contributions and surgical expertise in the field of implant dentistry. He lectures regularly across the country teaching dental implant surgical techniques to other surgeons. Dr. Stone has also been selected as one of 5280 Magazine’s Top oral and maxillofacial surgeons each year since 2007. Service in the community and abroad is important to Dr. Stone. He has volunteered his time and resources to provide quality surgical care. He has worked with many different cleft lip and palate, craniofacial, and medical mission teams in Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, and China. He has been actively involved in Dentistry >From The Heart each year (a charitable dental organization) in Colorado. A father to six active children, Dr. Stone is married to Dr. Kimberly Stone, who has her own dermatology practice, Colorado Skin Care. He is an avid athlete and enjoys participating in marathons and triathlons. He is fluent in Portuguese and speaks conversational Spanish."

L.F. “Butch” Peede, Jr., DMD

Dr. Peede was born and raised in South Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia where he finished the pre dental program. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, graduating with a doctorate of dental medicine. He then received his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He presently practices in Garden City, Kansas and Aurora, Colorado. Dr. Peede is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and he is either an active or previous member of several professional organizations including; A) Denver Academy of Clinical Dentistry - active founding member B) American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons C) International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons D) American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons E) Colorado Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons F) Colorado Dental Association G) American Dental Association H) Metropolitan Denver Dental Society and I) High Plains Dental Study Club. Dr. Peede is licensed to practice dentistry in the states of Georgia, Texas, Colorado and Kansas. Dr. Peede maintains a full time practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery providing a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery services. He has been involved in over 3000 Orthognathic reconstructive surgeries which is an area of special interest to him.

Justin Evanson, MD, DDS

A board eligible oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Justin Evanson is excited to be joining the team at Colorado Surgical Arts. Dr. Evanson was raised in the intermountain west and feels like coming home to the mountains after his years of training. Following high school he attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he completed a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy. There he married his high school sweetheart. Together they made the move to New York City to continue their education.Dr. Evanson received his doctorate in dental surgery from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He went on to complete his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine in Dallas, Texas. He then completed a general surgery internship as well as his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Parkland Hospital also in Dallas, Texas. Throughout his training his family has grown to include a daughter and two sons—with another daughter currently on the way. His greatest joy is spending time with them and returning to Colorado has been a blessing as it affords opportunities for their favorite activities: hiking, skiing (both water and snow), and otherwise spending time out-of-doors.Dr. Evanson is certified in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life support as well as Advanced Trauma Life support. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Our administrative team is a friendly and competent team of women. They are a knowledgeable and experienced team that work together to help serve you. Our Doctor's team members have participated in continuing education courses and attended educational conferences so that they can be better informed and in turn better serve you and your referring doctors.

The Clinical Team

Our clinical team is caring and educated team of women. They are all certified in Advanced Cardiac and Basic Life Support and have taken the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon’s anesthesia course. They are dedicated to making your surgery as safe and comfortable as possible.
